Slice the top and bottom(to make it sit straight up) off of the apple and use a melon-baller to take the core out. Make sure to get all of the seeds out and the hard part of the apple. Save the good part of the apple and the top you sliced off, minus the stem
Take remaining apple pieces from core and dice up, add slivered almonds, honey, and lots of cinnamon
Fill apple with mixture
Cut bacon into thin-strips and lay over apple. Place apple in a baking dish and add about 1/2″ of water with cinnamon
Bake @ 400ºF until bacon is crispy, be careful once it starts to brown it goes fast!
